DocuViral is built as a Local-First, Privacy-Centric Document Utility. We prioritize processing files directly on your mobile device whenever possible. When cloud processing is required for heavy PDF rendering or conversions, files are transmitted via secure TLS encryption and deleted automatically immediately following job execution.

2. Mobile App Data & Security Architecture

In accordance with the 2026 Google Play Data Safety requirements:

Zero Personal Identifier Tracking (No selling of personal data)
On-Device Storage (Documents cached locally in sandbox)
Automated Server Cleanup (Temp processing files purged within 2 hours)
HTTPS / TLS Encryption (All in-transit network communication)

3. Android & iOS App Permissions

To provide document scanning and processing functionality, our mobile application requests runtime system permissions. Each permission is requested strictly when triggered by explicit user action:

Camera Access

Required exclusively for live document scanning and capture using the embedded Scanbot SDK engine. Camera feeds are processed in real-time on-device and never stored or broadcast.

Storage & Media Files

Used to pick PDF or image files from your local storage for compression, conversion, or editing, and to save exported outputs back to your device gallery or downloads folder.

Internet / Network Access

Required to transmit user-selected files to your configured DocuViral backend server (docuviral.com) for advanced tool executions and optional ad requests.

Notifications (Optional)

Optional notification prompt used solely to alert you when background document processing tasks finish.

4. Third-Party SDKs & Advertising Declarations

Our app incorporates licensed third-party SDKs to enable professional scanning and sustain free feature availability:

Scanbot SDK: Used for high-speed document scanning, auto-cropping, and page edge detection. Scanbot SDK runs entirely locally on your device hardware without collecting or transmitting document images.
Google AdMob Framework: Used to serve contextual banner, interstitial, or optional rewarded video ads. Google AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID / AAID or IDFA), IP address, and non-personal diagnostic logs for fraud prevention and ad attribution. You can manage personalized ad preferences in your device OS settings.

5. Data Retention & User Data Deletion Rights

How to delete your local app data:

You can clear all app document history, scanned files, and settings instantly by navigating to Settings → Clear Local App Cache inside the mobile app, or by clearing app storage via your device's Android/iOS system settings.

Server file retention & account deletion policy:

Files submitted to docuviral.com for server-side processing are temporarily stored in isolated sandboxes and automatically deleted within 2 hours. You can also request manual server account/data erasure at any time by visiting our Data Deletion Policy Page or emailing info@phplogics.in.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR Compliance)

Our services are general audience productivity utilities not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly solicit or collect personal identification information from children. If we discover a minor has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.
