Effective Date: August 24, 2026 | App Package: com.docuviral.mobile

1. Overview

At DocuViral, we believe users should have full control over their personal information and document files. In compliance with the Google Play Developer Policy on User Data Deletion, this page explains how you can request the deletion of your account and any associated data processed by the DocuViral Mobile App (com.docuviral.mobile) and Web Platform.

2. On-Device Storage & Instant Local Deletion

DocuViral is built with a Local-First Architecture. All scanned documents, generated QR/Barcodes, cropped images, and saved PDF files are stored strictly inside your mobile device's sandbox application directory.

How to delete local app data instantly on your phone:

Option 1: Open DocuViral App → Settings → Clear Local App Cache. Option 2: Open your Android device Settings → Apps → DocuViral → Storage & Cache → Clear Storage. Option 3: Uninstalling the app permanently erases all locally cached sandbox files immediately.

3. Server File Purge & Retention Timeline

When you use cloud-assisted tools (such as PDF compression, OCR text extraction, or document conversion):

Automatic 2-Hour Cleanup

Uploaded temporary files are processed in isolated memory containers and automatically wiped from server hard drives within 2 hours.

No Third-Party Retention

We do not archive, inspect, index, or sell your documents or personal metadata to any external party.
